Gait and Balance Laboratory
The Gait and Balance Laboratory has been fortunate to receive research support from the VA Rehabilitation Research and Development Service, Department of Veterans Affairs. This funding and suport has enabled us to conduct research. One line of research is how best to intervene to improve the ability to allocate attention to balance and gait under dual-task conditions. The other line of research is to determine whether the addition of vestibular-specific gaze stability exercises reduces symptoms and fall risk in older adults with non-vestibular dizziness.
